What is the purpose of this referral?
A Johnstown Math Achievement Center Referral should be made when a faculty member feels a student would benefit from additional support in any of the following math courses: Math 0001, 0002, 0004, 0121, 0221, or 0231.
This referral should be used for students on the Johnstown campus only.
What action will be taken?
The student will receive an automated email with Johnstown Math Achievement Center staff contact information, center hours and location.
A member of the Math Achievement Center will also respond to the student with a personalized email. If detail is provided in the additional comments box, the email will refer the student to the specific service offered by the MAC that may be most appropriate for them. The email will be sent within 2-4 business days.
When will the referral be closed?
The case will be closed after two attempts are made to contact the student via email or after the student has visited the MAC.
